For today's challenge each tribe will be racing through an iSurv1vor obstacle course. Five tribe mates must work together to find their raft pieces, build a fire, race through the course, and light all torches.
As a tribe you must complete the following Legs:
Leg 1. Find All Bags of Raft Pieces (3)
Leg 2. Assemble Raft
Leg 3. Swim To Get Flint & Tribe Flag
Leg 4. Start A Fire
Leg 5. Pull Raft Down the Beach
Leg 6. Light The TorchesYour official time starts when one member of your tribe begins a thread labeled
"OFFICIAL IC#5" in your tribe campground here on the forum. This is where the entire challenge will take place. You can talk challenge strategy in your discord camp, but make sure that the thread where the Legs are posted in an OFFICIAL thread on the forum.
Leg 1
Find All Bags of Raft Pieces (3) - Search for three bags of raft pieces hidden in an undisclosed location.
It's time to head back down memory lane and search for 3 bags. Once your tribe is ready to tackle this challenge, a member of Production will provide you with a link where you must search for 3 bags containing parts of your raft. Once you find the bags, take a screen cap image, copy the link of its location, and post all 3 in your Official challenge thread. Once this is completed you can move on to leg two. Moving on with errors will result in a 10-minute penalty.
Leg 2
Assemble Raft - Once your 3 bags have been found, one member of your tribe can now drop out of the challenge. 4 members of your tribe must now assemble the raft, by posting the following phrase:
"[Name] is helping assemble the raft."
These posts must be in Alphabetical order by name. Someone on the tribe may post for another player, but with a 10-minute penalty per person. Use the replacement players name in Alphabetical order too.
Leg 3
Swim to Get Flint & Tribe Flag - once 4 members of the tribe assemble the raft someone else on the tribe can now drop out. 3 members must swim to get flint using the following strokes: crawl, breast, butterfly, doggy paddle.
- The 3 castaways must each use at least
TWO of these strokes, two separate times
- Each stroke must be used at least one time
- No stroke can be used back to back
- Whatever stroke the final person uses, make sure you wait the appropriate amount of time before moving on to Leg 4
- Once each swimmer has posted once, anyone participating this leg must grab their tribe flag & flint.
(Simply post letting us know your tribe flag & flint have been grabbed) Once the tribe flag is grabbed, your tribe may continue swimming.
- 3 players
MUST participate in this leg, no one may post in place of someone else
The following time must be waited between each Swim To Get Flint post:
crawl - 2 min
breast - 3 min
butterfly - 4 min
doggy paddle - 5 min
Follow the example:
"[Name] is using the [Stroke] to get the flint for [Tribe name]"
Dave is using the crawl to get the flint for La Digue [La Digue waits at least 2 minutes]
Amanda is using the butterfly to get the flint for La Digue [La Digue waits at least 4 minutes]
Grace is using the doggy paddle to get the flint for La Digue [La Digue waits at least 5 minutes]
(Someone grabs tribe flag & flint)
Grace is using the crawl to get the flint for La Digue [La Digue waits at least 2 minutes]
Amanda is using the breast stroke to swim back La Digue [La Digue waits at least 3 minutes] etc..
Leg 4
Starting Fire - Before starting on this leg make sure your tribe has waited the appropriate amount of time from the last stroke used in leg 3. Someone else must now bow out of the challenge. In this leg 2 members must post the following:
"[Name] is starting the fire".
These posts must be in age order from youngest to oldest. A 10-minute penalty will be added if someone must to post for another player.
Leg 5
Pull Raft Down the Beach - All five original tribe members who participated this challenge must come back and help out racing down the beach. All members must post the following phrase, along with a picture of the state/province they hail from:"[Name] is pulling the raft" (state/province picture)
These posts must be in order of location, starting on the West Coast and moving East. A 10-minute penalty will be added if someone decides to post for another player.
Leg 6
Lighting the Torches - Once all tribe members have pulled the raft, you are about to cross the finish line, but all tribe members must light a torch in order to do so. In no particular order, all original participating members must post the following:
"I am lighting my torch" + an image of a lit torch.
The text and image must be in the same post. Again, if a member is missing then another tribe mate may post in their place, but it will cost the tribe a 10-minute penalty. Once all five competing tribe members have completed this, your tribes time will stop.
As you see now after each Leg of the course, one tribe member on each tribe will stop competing while the other players move on. It is up to each tribe to figure out how they want to complete this Immunity Challenge. Let Production know when your tribe will be starting so we can link you to Leg 1.
Leg 1: 5 tribe mates
Leg 2: 4 tribe mates
Leg 3: 3 tribe mates
Leg 4: 2 tribe mates
Leg 5: 5 tribe mates
Leg 6: 5 tribe matesYour tribes official starting time is when an
OFFICIAL IC#5 thread is made, which is the same time Production will link you to Leg 1. Your tribes official ending time is when the final person posts an image of their lit torch at the end of Leg 6.
The tribe who can complete this obstacle course the fastest will win Immunity.
